August 2010 Welcome to Grace Christian School Junior High! We are so excited to have you joining us for what will be a fantastic year, here at Grace. We are honored to have the opportunity to work alongside of you and your family, and can't wait to begin sharing the year with you. To get you statred, here's some inportant information - 1. Class schedules and locker assignments will be be distributed on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 7. 2. On the first day, all Junor High (6-8 grades) will meet at 8:30 AM in the fellowship hall for an orientation assembly. From this assembly, students will be helped with schedules, lockers and moving to classes. 3. Be sure to come prepared on the first day with your supplies. The supply list is attached. 4. You will need to purchase PE uniforms ($20./set) and agendas ($5.) through the school buyers office. 5. PE and enrichments will begin the week of September 13. 6. 6th grade enrichments are pre selected for the first semester. 7-8 grade enrichment choices will be distributed on the first day. 7. Our JH staffing is nearly finalized and we will keep you posted when it is secured. It's is going to be GREAT, tho'. This year is going to be a wonderful time together. Blessings to you!
